Nokia’s portfolio of 2017 phones is almost up, although there is 1 phone left that is rumoured before 2017. The Nokia 9, which so far seems to be an all-out flagship with some edge over the Nokia 8. Now, we’ve seen leaked pics of the smartphone earlier suggesting a curved design but here we have the clearest CAD renders yet.

The 3D CAD renders are the work of CompareRaja and OnLeaks who is well known in the smartphone industry. They are based off prior info and not actual live images, so bear that in mind. Just looking at the video gives you the idea that the phone will be a real stunner.

It’s got a curved display which has been largely exclusive to Samsung. Another take away is that it doesn’t have a headphone jack. The info which is the source of the CAD also suggests a Galaxy S8-like Infinity Display. However, it isn’t noticeable on the 3D video because it is all black. You’ll also notice the USB Type-C port on the bottom, a vertical dual camera setup with an unsighty hump and a fingerprint sensor.

As we said earlier the renders are based on info, which is from an unknown source. As such, the dimensions have also been provided as 140.9 mm in length, 72.9 mm in width and 7.5 mm in depth. In terms of other components, speculation has it that the Nokia 9 will boast a 5.5-inch display with QHD resolution. It will most likely sport 4 GB RAM at least and provided it is launched in 2017, the Snapdragon 835.

Looking at the CAD renders, we surely like what we see. And it might just be the thing Nokia needs to make a splash in the industry once again. Let us know what you think of the design of the Nokia 9, and will you be willing to indulge this phone once it is out?
