All set for HMD Global’s launch event in China tomorrow. The company is expected to launch a new range of Nokia smartphones for the Chinese market. One of the most anticipated is the Nokia 7, which is a scaled down version of Nokia 8 with all its comfort.
Yesterday, a teaser photo posted by HMD on their official TMall online store page teases a Nokia smartphone with “bothie” and OZO Audio capability. The teaser also mentioned the word “qi” which means 7 in Chinese, hinting the impending launch of Nokia 7. Today, a sketch of what believes to be the Nokia 7 leaks on Baidu confirming the existence of the handset.
The Nokia 7 looks like the Nokia 3 at first glance with all those capacitive buttons below the display. However, unlike the Nokia 3, the Nokia 7 will have a fingerprint sensor at the back, just below the camera plate. The single Zeiss-branded rear-facing camera is also a welcome addition to the mid-range unit.
The Nokia 7 is rumored to have a 5.2″ Full HD IPS LCD display and Snapdragon 630 on board. According to the post, the device will have a metal frame and an acrylic glass chassis. It will also have access to features like “bothie” (Dual Sight) and OZO Audio recording.
