Just days earlier, we heard of a Nokia conference scheduled for January. It was rumoured that the Finnish company would launch the Nokia 9 at the event along with a Nokia 8 (2018). Now, a new report claims that the Nokia 6 (2018) is also slated to launch in February. Also, we’re hearing gossip about the handsets physical features at the rumour mill.
The rumours stem from the info that a Nokia TA-1054 that received 3C certification in November was alleged to be the Nokia 9. Now, fresh info suggests that model is actually the Nokia 6 (2018). Well, we wouldn’t be surprised if you messed up Nokia’s model numbers. The company’s model numbers are very confusing. So, here’s a quick glance at the whole model line up to make it easier for you.
Now, the Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to feature the same looks as its predecessor. However, new reports say that there won’t be a fingerprint scanner at the front. This also points to the possibility of an 18:9 aspect ratio on the upcoming Nokia 6 which is in vogue right now. Other info surrounding the phone indicates it will have a Snapdragon 660, a clear upgrade from the Snapdragon 430. The handset will also come with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage.
Since the Nokia 6 was announced in China in January and at MWC globally, it is likely that its successor might also debut at MWC 2018. HMD Global is also believed to launch the second- gen Nokia 7 at the same event.
