Motorola has just recently confirmed the MOTO C line of smartphones for this year. But that would not be the company’s only upcoming launch with leaks of other MOTO series smartphones also rife. Now, it seems that Motorola has leaked the press render of the MOTO Z2 family of smartphones as well. The leak was shared courtesy @HeyAndri and followed up shortly by noted tipster @rquandt.

Motorola is looking to expand the MOTO Z2 family with three releases instead of the two it did last year. These would be namely, the regular MOTO Z2, a MOTO Z2 Force and a MOTO Z2 Play. From the images leaked on twitter, it seems that these images would be used to promote the MOTO Z2 family by the company itself.
The images confirm a lot of what was till now speculation about the Z2 family smartphones. The Z2 Force is the black handset with the dual rear cameras while the Z2 Play is in a white livery with only a single rear camera. Apart from this, both devices carry a fingerprint scanner below their displays and dedicated flashes for their selfie cameras.
According to rumours and the recent presentation leak, the MOTO Z2 Force has a 5.5-inch QHD (1440 x2560) ShatterShield display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC while the Z2 Play will come with a regular 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x1920) display and a Snapdragon 626 SoC. Both devices will also be supportive of all MOTO MOD’s launched till now and in the future thanks to the contact pad array at the rear of both devices.
