There has been a lot of buzz lately surrounding the upcoming Moto smartphone, the Moto X4. We pretty much know all the details about the handset including it’s specifications. The source code of IFA 2017 confirms that the smartphone will launch in the event scheduled from September 1-6.
Also, in an image posted by the company on Facebook, Motorola indicates that the Moto X4 will launch in the IFA event on September 2. The image contains the #hellomoto X, confirming the news.
As for specifications, the device is set to come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 630 SoC. The RAM and storage options are a bit interesting. While the Europe, Latin America and North America variants are expected to sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the Asian and Pacific variants of the Moto X4 will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage.
The headlining feature of the Moto X4 is the presence of dual camera’s on the rear. A 12MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture will be supported by an 8MP lens. While most company’s tend to use the second lens for creating a blurred out background, the secondary lens on the X4 will be a wide-angled lens for clicking ultra-wide shots. This will be coupled with a 16MP selfie shooter with support for 4K video recording.
The handset will be IP68 water and dust resistance. It is rumoured to include a 3000mAh battery with support for Moto’s Turbo Charging Technology.
