The Meizu M6 Note has been in the news this month. We are already 2 days close to the actual official release date of the affordable smartphone in China. The “Note” series of Meizu embodies “bang for your buck” motto. However, the Meizu M5 Note sported a pretty average processor. And it left us wanting more. This year, with the Meizu M6 Note, it was rumored that the device will house a Helio P25 chipset to atone for previous sins. That’s definitely a step up from the Helio P10 in its predecessor.

However, a new leak sees the phone emerge on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 625, surprisingly. Although we would call it a pleasant surprise. As the S625 is a tried and tested SoC that can handle the ropes well. The phone also runs on Android 7.1.2 and sports GB of RAM. The leak comes courtesy of Slashleaks.

Another leak from the same trusted source displays the M6 Note with a transparent back case. This time the M6 Note has a vertical dual camera arrangement at the back. Also, clearly visible is the quad LED flash in the antenna line. This is in line with previous live images of the phone also showing the same thing. The phone is expected to sport a 4,000 mAh battery. In all likeliness, the phone will have a 5.5-inch screen as well as fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.

The invites for the device have already been sent out which will coincide with another “Note”(Galaxy) that will probably dwarf the Meizu Note event for good. However, both phones cater to different price segments and don’t compete for the same pockets.
