Online retailers are having a feast as the 4-day festive season is recording high sales numbers. More so in the smartphone category. Especially Flipkart today sold a whopping 1.3 million smartphones in the first 20 hours. We actually did some articles on some great deals running on both Amazon and Flipkart yesterday. You can check them out if something hits your fancy.

Today, there is one particular deal on the Meizu M5 that is interesting. The Meizu M5 launched with a price tag of Rs 10,499 now has a price cut of Rs 2,900. The mid ranger launched in May is now priced Rs 7,599 on Tatacliq.com. The Meizu M5 comes in gold and blue colour options.

Meizu M5 Specs

The Meizu M5 comes with a polycarbonate chassis and features a 5.2-inch HD display coated with 2.5D curved glass. It sports the MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU. On the front sits a mTouch fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. The downside to the Meizu M5 is that it runs on Android Marshmallow with the Flyme 5 skin.

The average specs of the smartphone continue with the camera department. As the rear of the device has a 13 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front has a5 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The 3,070 mAh battery is more than enough to power the HD screen for tody’s standards. Finally, the Meizu M5 has dual-SIM with dual-standby, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, and a micro USB port.

Now, the Meizu M5 specs are not the best in its range out there, but the discounted price tag does make it appealing. Otherwise, buyers can look at offerings like the Lenovo K8 Plus which is an excellent option that comes with dual camera & vanilla Android Nougat at the discounted price of Rs 8,999. This is an almost no-brainer. That is a waiver of Rs 2,000. Originally, the phone costs Rs 10,999.
