Multinational Telecommunications company Motorola has announced that they’re launching the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in Moto X Style For indian customers.
The All new new Marshmallow update will offer features and improvements from the latest OS like doze mode, app standby, expandable storage, do not disturb, now on tap, direct share and more. It would be an interesting thing to checkout the overall improvements in the device after 6.0 update.
The update is, of course, tweaked for Moto users. For example, since Marshmallow has the Do not disturb setting and data baackup, Motorola has removed the Moto Assist and Moto Migrate features from the phone.

The update is rolling out in phases, so don’t panic if you haven’t gotten a notification yet. You can also manually check for update, by going into Settings>About Phone>Software Updates. The Moto X Pure Edition, meanwhile, will start receiving the update within the next few weeks.

Marshmallow primarily focuses on improving the overall user experience of Lollipop, introducing a new permissions architecture, new APIs for contextual assistants a new power management system that reduces background activity when a device is not being physically handled, native support for fingerprint recognition and USB Type-C connectors, the ability to migrate data to a microSD card and use it as primary storage, as well as other internal changes.
