Lenovo #KillerNote

We have been expecting Lenovo to launch the successor to its K Note range sooner rather than later. The company has been teasing us about the same for some time via their social media channels and today finally the chocks are off, Lenovo has officially set a date for the reveal of the upcoming K8 Note. Skipping the K7, the upcoming K8 Note will be revealed on the 9th of August and will be replacing the K6 Note.

The K range of smartphones has always tried to over-deliver on the hardware and features front and the K8 will be no exception. Recently, the smartphone was revealed to be featuring the MediaTek Helio X20 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and running on Android v.7.1.1, Nougat. This would be a huge step up over the current K6 Note which sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC.

Apart from this, the smartphone is likely to feature a large full-HD (1080 x1920) display panel. Although other specifications are yet to be revealed, we can expect features like Dolby Atmos which have been present since the range’s inception with the Lenovo K3 Note.
