A fresh leak has popped up online today indicating a new K series device is in the works at Lenovo HQ. We already have more than a couple of K series phones to be confusing enough for us. Lenovo launched the K8, K8 Plus and K8 Note this year with stock Android for the budget segment in India. Now it looks like there will be one more addition to that family.
The new K series phone was spotted on GeekBench and reported by Slashleaks. The device named Lenovo K520 got a score of 933 in single score tests and 5370 in multi core tests. But, we think, there are other things that might interest you more than these cold numbers.
The said device or handset runs Android 8.0 Oreo, and if this is a K series device, this means pure unadulterated vanilla Android. Whatsmore, the device has room for 4 GB RAM and a Snapdragon processor clocked 2.02 GHz. Whats odd here is that the K series has offered MediaTek chips until now. A Snapdragon chip means the device might be a more premium offering in the K series.
This is our very first encounter case of such a K series phone and going by the specs, we are definitely looking forward to this surprise package. Currently, we don’t have any idea about its launch date or pricing, but this benchmark appearance hints that it can’t be very far.
The Lenovo K8 Note is right now the best handset in the K family with a befitting price of Rs 13,999 to boot. While the K8 Plus is the lowest priced of them all at Rs 9,999.
