The bezel-less display’s made a debut with the Galaxy S8 and the LG G6. The trend has move on ever since and even the LG Q6, a budget handset includes the Full-Vision display found on the G6. Now, Micromax is aiming to do just that with the Micromax HS2.
The Micromax HS2 has been spotted on Geekbench 4 and GFXBench, thus revealing most of it’s key specifications.
The listing shows that the smartphone will be powered by the recently released Snapdragon 427 SoC, which is clocked in at 1.4GHz. This will be backed up 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There is no information on whether microSD expansion will be possible. Unlike many other smartphones, the Micromax device runs on Android 7.2 Nougat.
The big story however is the bezel-less display that it is expected to come with. Micromax had earlier teased that the Micromax Canvas Infinity will have a 2:1 aspect ratio and the Model number HS2 is expected to be the Canvas infinity.
As for optics, the device will feature a 12MP camera on the rear and a 16MP selfie shooter. We do not know any more details as of yet.
If the Micromax HS2 is indeed the Micromax Canvas Infinity which it most likely is, stay tuned as the smartphone is expected to be launched tomorrow.
