We’ve got a really hot looking smartphone design leak today for you to feast your eyes upon. To add to it, the new leak is regarding a full-screen Xiaomi device. And since we’ve already seen both the Mi Note 3 and the Mi MIX 2 out this year, this is likely something for the masses. If it releases this year. What’s more, the new design pushes the bezel boundaries even further, we haven’t seen this in the Mi MIX 2. Although this new phone does have a top bezel. However, both top and bottom bezels are so slim, the screen to body ratio might very well be like the Mi MIX 2.

The images, posted by Gizchina, are claimed to be of the upcoming Redmi Note lineup. This gives all the more reason to be excited.  Recently, the Redmi Note lineup hasn’t seen any major updates even but this year we could very well see a Redmi phone with such thin bezel design. Now, we’ve witnessed some earlier HD renders of the Redmi Note 5, and these images are drastically different from what we saw earlier. Moreover, these new images are of the live product. One thing common between them is the dual camera, so it is safe to assume that we are definitely seeing dual shooters this year on them.

Also, specs of the Redmi Note 5 have leaked extensively. Both the Snapdragon 660 and the MediaTek Helio P25/P30 are rumoured along with the regular RAM storage combos. However, this report here suggests the Mediatek SoCs are more close to reality. The rear camera is expected to be 16 MP + 5 MP dual lenses. The whole package might be backed with a 4,000 mAh Li-ion juice pack.

The best part of Xiaomi devices is always the price point. The Redmi Note 5 will come with a price tag of 999 Yuan for the base 3 GB + 32 GB variant. That will jump to 1299 yuan for 4GB RAM and finally 1599 Yuan for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.

Let’s just hope these pics are the real deal. Cause if they are, we bet Xiaomi will make more sales records. We expect the Redmi Note 5 to go public in December or January next year.
