One of the rare spottings on the rumor radar this year is the Huawei Mate 10. The powerhouse has seemed to elude most leaksters and we don’t have a clue about how the phone will look. However, there has been official talk on some distinguished traits the phone will possess. Also, it’s already official that there will be a Pro model and that both siblings will have a reveal ceremony on October 16 in Munich. This was revealed by Huawei CEO at its IFA 2017 key event.

It is also confirmed that the power house will be sporting the brand new Kirin 970 chip with on-chip AI capability. Additionally, the CEO reassured that the phone will jump on the bezel-less bandwagon with the likes of big guns Samsung and Apple.

Today we have a 360-degree render of the Huawei Mate 10 based on CAD drawings. Right off the bat, the screen we notice is nothing like the Galaxies and LGs we’ve witnessed this year. It is rather more in line with the Mate 9. Noticeably, the fingerprint does migrate from the back to the front of the device. To be honest, we are disappointed if this is the actual design of the phone. It doesn’t even come close to an Infinity Display or an LG FullVision Display. However, we might be mistaken in estimating the top and bottom chins.

Another big transition is the glass back in place of the steel finish at the rear of the phone. Manufacturers have increasingly taken the glass-sandwiched design and made it flagship standard this year. The leak from Priceraja & Onleaks also claims the Mate 10 will be 150.2 x 77.5 mm in size, with a thickness of 8.4 millimeters. The rear dual cameras will protrude an extra half a millimeter.
