The iPhone 8 is just a month away and the smartphone is already facing a lot of hype. Last week, we reported that the iPhone 8 could come in a copper gold colour option. Now, reports from a Weibo sharing site are suggesting that the colour option might well be called “Blush Gold“.
Earlier, popular KGI Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had reported that the 2017 iPhone’s will debut only in three colours namely, Black, White and Gold. This means that the glossy Jet Black, the Rose Gold and the RED colour options are dying this year. One could also possibly argue that the ‘Blush Gold’ is a modified version of the Rose Gold colour.
Interestingly, the leak also specifies that the Blush Gold variant will only come in 64 and 128GB storage options. This is a little sketchy as the exclusive colour options usually are saved for the top storage capacities, much like how Jet Black was available only in 128GB and 256GB configurations.
Another report from Weibo confirms the Blush Gold colour and also provides an overview of the features of the iPhone 8. The report re-instates that the flagship iPhone will come with a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the display. This has been a pretty controversial topic lately with a few reports disagreeing. However, facial recognition seems to be confirmed and is expected to be called ‘Face-ID‘.
At this point of time, we pretty much know how the iPhone 8 is going to look like. What do you think about the colour options? Which one is your personal favourite? Let us know in the comments below.
