Hong-Kong manufacturer Infinix is looking to enter the Indian market. The company has updated it’s Indian website with five new smartphones namely Infinix Hot 4, Hot 4 Pro, Note 4, Note 4 Pro and the Infinix Zero.
Infinix India has launched a teaser about it’s smartphone launch event in India on Twitter. The teaser does not contain any specific information about which phone is being launched or the specifications of the smartphone. The tweet reads ” The Game Changer Coming to India Stay Tuned #GoBeyond.” But it is expected that the Infinix Note 4 will be launched in the event.
The Infinix Note 4 sports a huge 5.7-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass on top for protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB using a microSD card slot. It is fuelled by a huge 4,300mAh battery with support for quick charge. The Infinix Note 4 runs on XOS 2.2 UI on top of Android Nougat.
As for optics, the phone features a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. Up front, we have an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the back.
Secondly, the Infinix Zero 4 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass is present for protection. Underneath the hood, the smartphone features a MediaTek MT6753 CPU, which is an octa-core chip clocked in at 2.1GHz. All this is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Talking camera’s, the Zero 4 houses a 16 megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone features a 3,200mAh battery and runs on XOS UI on top of Android Marshmallow.
Lastly, we have the Infinix Zero 4 Plus. It features a massive 5.98-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution. Much like the Infinix Note 4, 2.5D glass protection is found here too. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio X20 CPU, a deca-core chipset clocked in at 2.1GHz. This is paired with 4GB of RAM with an option for 32/64 GB of on-board storage with support for a microSD card. There is a 4,000mAh battery backing all this with support for XCharge 3A charging technology.
Speaking about camera’s, a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation(OIS) can be found on the rear while a 13-megapixel shooter is present on the front. An LED flash unit is found on both the sides. Similar to the Infinix Zero, the Zero Plus runs on XOS UI on top of Android Marshmallow.
Flipkart has announced that it will be an exclusive retail partner for the upcoming Infinix smartphones.
