Huawei just unveiled their newest smartphone on their official website, the Huawei Y7. The Huawei Y7 is a budget smartphone wrapped in sandblasted metal and 2.5D glass on its front.

There’s nothing to scream about this device knowing that it is targeted for people who are tight on budget. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset which is divided into two clusters with different frequencies with one cluster clocked at 1.1GHz and other on 1.4GHz. The device will feature a 5.5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. A 4000mAh of battery is also there to keep the device running.

For the camera, Huawei Y7 will sport a 12MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and 8MP on the front which has features like face recognition and beauty mode. The device is expected to run an Android Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skin on the top.

The key factor about the newly launched Huawei Y7 is its 4000mAh battery. Furthermore, other factors that make the Android smartphone a good one is because the device runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset is announced in several colour variants including – grey, prestige gold, and silver.

The Huawei Y7 is expected to be globally available. When? Huawei is yet to set exact date for that.
