About a week ago Huawei confirmed that it’s next flagship smartphone, the Mate 10 will launch on October 16 in Munich. Huawei seems to bet big with the Mate 10 and teased the image of the device with #beyondthegalaxy. Now, the company has teased the Mate 10 in a 30 second long video.
The video completely focusses on the shear speed of the Kirin SoC and the Mate 10. It is worthy to note that Huawei’s mobile chief Mr. Richard Yu had mentioned that the Mate 10 will be the fastest phone the company has ever produced. He also noted that the Huawei handset will take better photos than the iPhone 8.
Speaking of specs, the Huawei Mate 10 is expected to come with a 6.1-inch Quad HD display. Huawei is making a big deal about the display of the upcoming smartphone and the screen-to-body ratio is set to be higher than the Note 8. As the video confirms, the smartphone will be powered by the in-house Kirin SoC. The SoC is expected to be the Kirin 970, which will be built on the 10nm manufacturing process. This will be backed up 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
A dual camera setup will make the cut at the rear of the smartphone. The lenses will be from Leica. While both the rear camera’s will be 34MP, a front facing 16MP shooter will be present for selfie duties. The smartphone is expected to run on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
