Mate 10

Huawei launched it’s flagship, the Huawei P10 in February 2017. Just like Samsung, Huawei too releases two flagship smartphones in a year. While the highly anticipated smartphone is the Galaxy Note 8, the Mate 9 is another product to look forward to.

Reports have confirmed that the successor to the Mate 9 will be dubbed the Mate 10. A latest report has now claimed that the Huawei P10 will come with a full screen display. Bezel-less displays have become a trend now a days and it only makes sense that Huawei moves in that direction.

As per the launch cycle every year, Huawei has already launched the P series flagship in February and the Mate 10 is expected to be launched after the release of the iPhone 8.

Reports are showing us that Huawei is putting a lot of work into this device to make it stand out. It is said to include a 6-inch display with a screen to body ratio that is higher than the Galaxy S8, which is already a crazy 83%. Also, the fingerprint scanner is rumoured to be embedded underneath the display. This is interesting as reports claim that Samsung is sticking with the rear fingerprint sensor for the Note 8.

Underneath the hood, the Huawei Mate 10 will be powered by the Kirin 970 SoC, which is built on the 10nm manufacturing process. What’s more interesting is the fact that the Mate 10 may include dual cameras on both sides. If it’s true, it will be the first smartphone to do so. It is expected that the Mate 10 will run Android 8.0 out-of-the box.
