HTC has recently teased it’s upcoming mobile device rumored name being “Squeeze”. The tagline for it’s launch event is “Squeeze for the brilliant U”. This event announcement seems to confirm rumors about a touch-sensitive frame. The event will be held on 16th of May this year and will be live-streamed from Taiwan at 2 PM local time but for US fans, that’s 2 AM EST. Here we are going to share all we know about the HTC Squeeze flagship.

HTC has always been into trying out things that it’s competitors won’t dare, be it BlinkFeed, RE remote camera or dual cameras. HTC is the proud manufacturer of mobile devices that have been and are are remarkably good with their UI even after the aggressive Asian manufacturers like Xiaomi and LeEco jumping into action. This time it’s relying on the bezels for it’s upcoming flagship when most manufacturers are trying to develop bezel-less devices.

According to market rumors this upcoming flagship from HTC will be sporting Snapdragon 835 processor, which can be found in it’s arc rival Samsung’s Galaxy S8 & S8+. HTC may also resort to the more appreciated 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 accompanied by 12 MP rear and 16 MP front Shooters. Also, this forthcoming HTC U is expected to have touch-sensitive sensors embedded in the metal frame that allow customizable action gestures like squeezing the phone and swiping over it’s sides.

There is a lot to find out about this upcoming innovative piece of art from HTC. Till the time we have to SQUEEZE onto our heart and wait for the launch event.
