HTC has launched the HTC U Ultra at the start of this year which is touted to be the company’s flagship phone of 2017 and the phone’s price and specs also indicate the same thing. HTC U Ultra has been launched with a secondary display and Snapdragon 821 processor. The HTC U Ultra has not received high critic ratings because of the use of 2016 specs on a phone launched in 2017. Although we thought that HTC will be launching the HTC 11 which will be the true flagship from the company, rumors started surfacing that the HTC U will be launched instead of the HTC 11.

Now that we know that HTC will launch the HTC U, more leaks and details from the phone have started to surface online. This time the leak comes from Antutu Benchmarking site where the HTC U from someone has certainly visited and it reveals all the major specifications from the phone.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the HTC U will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which will team up with Adreno 540 GPU to take care of graphics. In terms of memory, the device will be armed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage space.

HTC U will offer a WQHD display resolution with 1400 x 2560 pixels, the camera department will contain a 16MP + 12MP camera most probably later will be the front camera. The HTC U will ofcourse come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. This is pretty much every detail we need to know about the device. Stay tuned as we know more about the HTC U.
