HTC is expected to announce their latest smartphone on the 2nd of November and everyone starts speculating the company’s next big step. Other says it will be the flagship HTC U11+, but we strongly believe it will be the HTC U11 Life that will make it to the launch. And Evan Blass seems to agree.
Much ado about nothing: the 11/2 HTC event is to launch the decidedly mid-range U11 Life, not the +. Dial back your excitement accordingly.

Back in August, a couple of leaks pointed out the existence of the handset but was later went out of hype in favor of the more prominent HTC U11+. A recent benchmark result posted on Slashleaks just confirmed the previous information.
The HTC U11 Life will have a 5.2″ Full HD display with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. Like the HTC U11, it will come with 16-megapixel Panorama selfie camera and 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). To make it more interesting, HTC will also implement their very own Edge Sense on the frame of HTC U11 Life just like the flagship HTC U11.
Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 instead of Snapdragon 660. But there will be no notable differences between the two processors in terms of performance. A 3GB of RAM is also noted considering it will feature a very capable processor. The U11 Life will have 32GB of internal memory onboard which is expandable up to 2TB through a microSD card slot.
To wrap up, the new HTC U11 Life will have an IP67 certification and USonic earbuds with active voice cancellation. However, the existence of headphone jack is still quite questionable.
