The HTC U11 is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC which is a 64 bit octa-core chip clocked in at 2.45 Ghz. There are two variants present, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a hybrid SIM slot which can either be used to house two SIM’s or a SIM and a micro SD card.
As for optics, the U11 comes wth a 12MP rear camera with UltraPixel technology. It features an aperture of f/1.7 with the presence of OIS and dual LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 4K video. The front shooter is a 16MP sensor with features like live make-up, auto Selfie, Voice Selfie and HDR boost with an ability to record 1080p video.
The HTC U11 comes with a unique feature called the Edge Sense, which invokes special controls when a user squeezes the phone from the sides. It can be customised to open the camera, youtube app and more. It is worthy to note that the feature works even with the gloves on.
HTC is also stepping up its audio game with it’s latest flagship. It provides HTC’s USonic earphones with active noise cancellation, hence providing a great experience. These are regarded as the best in-the-box earphones available today.
