HTC U Play

HTC launched the HTC U and the HTC U Play smartphones earlier this year launching its new flagship series called the HTC U. HTC U Play is the mid-range version of the HTC U smartphone launched by HTC. Although, HTC U has not done well in the markets due to its higher pricing, last year specifications and the removal of headphone jack, the company has launched the HTC U Play in India and the pricing of this phone has been kept very aggresively by HTC which could turn out to be good for the company. HTC announced last month that the HTC U and the HTC U Play will be coming to India. Now, the HTC U Play has been launched today at a price of Rs. 29,990 and the smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India.

HTC U Play is a mid-range smartphone with a 5.2-inch full HD display, a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 16MP rear camera, and another 16MP camera at the front. There’s a 2435mAh battery inside, and the phone comes with dual-SIM slots that supports VoLTE.

The smartphone is available currently only in Sapphire Blue and we don’t know if the other color options will be available or not. The phone comes with the uSonic earphones that customizes the sound based on your inner ear structure. Out of the box, the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and not Android Nougat but the update to Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to arrive soon.
