Honor has just been lauded a lot for its excellent budget offering, the Honor 7X. The Huawei-sub brand is a late bloomer in the Xiaomi-dominated mid-range segment of India. Not many are as aware of the brand as they are of Xiaomi. Since the company is trying to fortify its presence in India, they are building after-sales support.
Honor just announced yesterday that they will open 4 service centres in 4 major Indian cities. Those will be Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Guwahati.
“With the opening of the new service centres, we aim to ease the after-sales troubleshooting for our customers. These will help us reach out to more of our customers across the landscape of the country,” P. Sanjeev, Vice-President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business Group, said in a statement.
Honor already has 17 other service centres active in other Indian metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. These service centres will provide first-class support and repair for Honor devices, said the company.
Honor is also set to debut the Honor View 10 in India on January 8. In short, the Honor View 10 is the Mate 10 wrapped up in an affordable package. Honor continues to scale new heights with Y-O-Y smartphone shipments rising to 20% in India.
