HMD Global is the manufacturing company that has secured the contract of manufacturing the Nokia smartphones under its brand name. HMD Global has been an integral part of the comeback of the Nokia smartphones this year. Nokia launched the Nokia 3310(2017), Nokia 3, 5 and 6 at the MWC in Barcelona which also marked the company’s comeback after many years of silence. HMD Global has announced that they will be organizing an event in New Delhi, India on May 8 and the company has already sent out press invites for the same. The invite doesn’t reveal much but says that it will be “a conversation with Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global,”. This conversation is likely to be about the launch dates of the Nokia smartphones in Indian markets. HMD Global is not expected to reveal the official pricing details of the phone and the fans will have to wait for the launch day to know the exact pricing.

HMD Global had already announced that the new Nokia 3310 and Nokia Android smartphones like the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 will be launched in markets such as India, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Europe in the second quarter.
