Gionee is the latest MNC to hop on the so called bezel less trend this year. The Chinese smartphone maker has just outed a promo teaser of the Gionee M7 online. The newcomer will be a first razor bezel display device from Gionee. Vivo is also set to join the party this month with the Vivo V7+ debut next week.
Now, the teaser doesn’t mention any date but it points to a collaboration between Gionne and Ofo, a bike-sharing startup from Beijing. The tagline is quite explicit saying “M7 Joint card invites you to see the world in full screen”. So this is definitely the Gionee M7 we are talking about here. The poster pops up on Gionee’s official Weibo account. This means that the launch is very close, probably this month.
The phone has already trespassed benchmarks strutting its stuff. The 6.0-inch phablet will come with a 2160 x 1080 pixels display and an octa-core MediaTek MT6758 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz along with Mali G71 GPU will be the brains behind the beauty. Further more, 6 GB of RAM is in tow along with 64 GB of ROM. Potential onlookers can be assured of Android Nougat with the latest version Amigo OS on board the handset.
the Gionee M7 might come with a 16 MP rear shooter with 4K support and an 8 MP front shooter for selfies. We don’t know much about the battery capacity as of yet.
