Gionee had recently launched the Gionee A1 and the Gionee A1 Plus smartphones at the MWC in Barcelona. Now, the company has launched a skimmed down version of the Gionee A1 which is named as the Gionee A1 Lite. The Gionee A1 Lite is currently launched in Nepal at a price of NPR 26,999 which is approximately Rs. 17,000 in India. The Gionee A1 Lite, following the Gionee A1 is also a selfie-centric smartphone. The Gionee A1 Lite has been launched in Gold and Red color. The Gionee A1 Lite comes with a metal unibody design and premium look.

For the specifications, the Gionee A1 Lite comes with 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display along with a 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and features Mali-T720 GPU to look after the graphical performance. It sports 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expandable via MicroSD card slot. Talking about the cameras, the Gionee A1 Lite features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 20MP selfie camera with wide-angle lens and the same f/2.0 aperture.

The Gionee A1 Lite comes with a massive 4000 mAH battery to keep the power on the device for at least a full day. The device also supports VoLTE as well as dual-sim standby support for connectivity.
