We’re almost halfway through December and that means the monthly patches will start dropping on Android OS. The latest to receive the patches are Samsung’s Galaxy A3 (2017) and J3 (2017). The firmware is reportedly arriving in select markets like Italy Ecuador and Cambodia. And since these phones are the ultra-affordable variety, it still remains to be seen when other regions will get it.
The good news is that this patch will fix those lethal flaws like Blueborne and KRACK even if your A3/J3 2017 hasn’t been on its latest update for some months. So, you’re getting a bumper security patch all rolled in one. The update fixes ten security in Samsung’s skin while others from Android OS as well also have been addressed.
As always, you can check for the update manually by going to the phone’s settings menu and look for software update section. Otherwise, the update can be downloaded from Sammobile’s website as well.
