Earlier this year, a Malaysian distributor Avaxx revealed during its presentation that HMD is set to release 6-7 Nokia smartphones this year. The news made us all excited, and then, there comes the Nokia 6 which was first released in China without any grand launching event which Nokia used to do before. Followed by the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 (Global Version) unveiled during the MWC 2017 later this February. And if its not enough, looks like Nokia is cooking another surprise for its fans.
NokiaPowerUser reported that HMD registers another four new Nokia smartphone design trademarks in Europe. The TA-1013/TA-1040, TA-1007/TA-1029 and TA-100 seem to appear for the first time. Though its too early for now to say if it’s the long-rumoured Nokia 8 and Nokia 9, the possibility is also huge.
There have been sketches of the said Nokia 8 and Nokia 9, but no one can really tell if it’s legit or it’s just some fan’s imagination. HMD is still tongue-tied in regards of this leaks, and we don’t expect them to talk about that either.
