While we’ve been hearing a lot about the upcoming Galaxy A series sporting an Infinity display, we’ve haven’t seen any real-life image of the phones. That changes today as a live leaked image of the phone has sprung up online.
Now, the image isn’t the clearest we’ve seen but it serves its purpose at least. It shows the top end of the Galaxy A7 (2018). Its been getting clear each week that we won’t be getting a curved display on the Galaxy A series, whenever it launches. Samsung wants to keep the curves exclusive to the S series and that’s understandable.
The cleanest look at the A series has been through CAD renders of the phone which leaked quite a while ago. Both the A series phones have recently been certified by WFA, and FCC leaving nothing in the way of their launch. Also, there are two front cameras sitting on the top bezel of the phone. This means we’ll see a dual selfie shooter from Samsung. That is pretty much it what we can gather from the image. It’s almost a given that the A series will sport an Infinity Display at this point.
In terms of other specs, the Galaxy A7 (2018) will come with an 18:9 aspect ratio, AMOLED display panel. It is also expected to house a 14nm Exynos 7892 octa-core chipset or Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6 GB RAM.
We can expect Samsung to announce the Galaxy A7 (2018) in December at the earliest, or in January.
