A new Nokia budget handset consistently appearing on the rumor radar recently is the Nokia 2. The handset has been caught trespassing the FCC. The phone’s images were also outed by the certification body. Now new reports have bubbled over the surface regarding the battery of the phone. The leak proves the phone will have a 4,000 mAh battery. The source of this latest leak is also the FCC.

Judging from its specs, the Nokia 2 is an ultra-budget device. It allegedly comes with a 5-inch or 4.77 inch HD screen, 1 GB RAM and a Snapdragon 212 SoC. The last two bits have been sourced from a Geekbench scan on the smartphone. We can also expect the handset to come with a mostly clean build of Android Nougat. Apparently, there are a lot of blanks left to be filled in the Nokia 2 spec sheet.

The model in question is the Nokia (TA-1029) which also has other three variants with model number TA-1007, TA-1023, and TA-1035. Apart from that, we also have no other info regarding the launch of this particular device. However, we can expect it launch by the end of the year.
