We had reported last week that NINTENDO’s unofficial plumber mascot would be heading to the Android platform today. And as per the schedule, the company has started rolling out Super Mario Run on the Play Store. Users in the United States, for now, can download and install the application on their Android devices.

The game was released on the iOS platform on December 15th last year and proved to be highly popular and has generated over $50 million in revenue for NINTENDO. The Android version of the game is said to follow the same freemium business model as the iOS version. Which is an all access fee of $9.99 after the initial few stages.

If you do not fall in the initial release territory for the game, you can still enjoy the game by downloading it from @APKMirror.

Update: Pre-registered users from last week can now start downloading the game and the full price on the Indian play store is rumoured to be ~₹800.
