Samsung Galaxy S9

The AT&T Galaxy S8 and S8+ are due for big updates. All these two months while others have been enjoying stable updates to their Galaxy phones, AT&T users have had to endure on the sidelines. Thankfully, it’s there. The US carrier is pushing big updates that should appear soon all around the US.

They should pop us as build number G950USQU1AQGL and G955USQU1AQGL for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ respectively. With the new update comes the ability to hide the navigation bar. After the update, users will notice a small dot on the left side of the navigation bar. Tapping it will show and hide the bar.

Moreover, the update comes with support for Google’s Daydream VR platform. AT&T has been late with the new VR feature as well as Google announced it in the beginning of August and unlocked Galaxy S8 devices got it then. Also, the update also has enhancements for Bluetooth, Email, Calendar and Samsung Knox. It should also have the latest security patch bundled in the update.

One more thing. Before you update, make sure you have plenty of charge, a very faithful, devoted Wi-Fi connection and a backup. And you are good to go.
