Asus has been preparing to launch the successor to the Asus Zenfone Go which was launched about two years ago. The next phone in the Asus Zenfone Go series will be the Asus Zenfone Go 2. The Asus Zenfone Go 2 has some rumors floating around which suggests that the phone will come in two variants of 3GB RAM/32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM/64 GB internal memory. Now, the device has been spotted on TENAA which is a Chinese certification site and the images and specifications of the phone are revealed.

According to the listings at TENAA, the Zenfone Go 2 could come with a screen size of 5.5 inch with a screen resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. Further, the internal memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using the external card. Also the device will have octa-cores clocked at 1.5GHz. It could be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 SoC but we have no details about the processor yet.

There are more rumors floating around for the Asus Zenfone Go 2 which suggest that the phone could come with a huge battery. According to the reports, Zenfone Go 2 comes with a massive battery of 4850 mAh and an upgraded version of cameras. While the device will sport 13 MP dual rear cameras with flash and 5MP selfie camera, its predecessor had 8MP rear camera and 2 MP selfie camera. Further, the device will support VoLTE and run on Android Nougat 7.0.

Asus has been known in the past for giving phones with massive batteries and this leaks come as no surprise. We have not known the release date and pricing details of the phone yet. Stay tuned as we know more on the Asus Zenfone Go 2.
