ASUS has been slowly letting us glimpses of its new range of ZenFone smartphones. The successor to the ZenFone 3 line, imaginatively named the ZenFone 4 range will sport four or five new models to replace their predecessors. Out of these one has already been announced earlier in the month.
The ZenFone 4 Max was officially spotted on the company’s Russian site but currently unannounced elsewhere. Apart from the same, it is surmised that ASUS plans to launch the ASUS ZenFone 4 /4 Pro /4 Selfie and the 4V. Out of these, it has been revealed that the ZenFone 4V will release in Europe sometime during September but might also see an earlier launch in the other markets.
The company most recently teased its ZenFone 4 range of smartphones on Facebook, with the possibility of one of them having a dual camera setup. Moving in this direction various smartphones from the company were recently certified in Taiwan by the NCC.
Seeing as how the computer component and laptop major from Taiwan has struggled in the smartphone market since Intel withdrew, here is to hoping that the new ZenFone range has what it takes to recapture the market.
