Google has released new Automatic suggestions for its Archive feature for Photos app. Google Photos official Twitter account, tweeted out confirming this feature. And the feature is slowly rolling out through updates.
About a week ago, Google updated the Google photos app with Archive feature. Using this feature, we can Archive the photos just like we archive the private emails.
Archiving feature allows you to hide individual images from the main feed of the Photos app. Adding the new suggestions will serve as an enhancement to Archive feature. With the latest update, Photos app with the help of Assistant will automatically detect and suggest photos you might want to Archive. In General, it will recognize receipts, documents, and pics that involves nudity. Google is using the Machine learning algorithms for doing this task. Photos Assistant can also detect the repetitive photos as well, and it will slowly change the suggestions based on your use and what you archive in general.
Steps to Archive the photos:
- Go to the Photos tab on the Google Photos App.
- Select the Photos you want to archive.
- Tap the three dotted button the Top right and then select Archive.
- To find the Archived photos, Slide left to the menu in Photos App
- Now locate the folder Archive in the menu, and you can find the Archived photos.
