Update: The OTA has apparently been received by Nexus users as well, we confirm this via a tweet by @SathyaBhat who was on the Developer Preview build on his Nexus 6P who got this update today morning weighing in at 36.5MB.

Barely 12 hours after the official announcement of Android Oreo, we have reports of the update reaching users. We have recently got images of the update being received by a Pixel XL user.
As one can see in the images above the official OTA update for the Pixel XL weighs in at ~950.7MB. Apart from updating the handset to the latest flavour of Android, the update brings with it the August 2017 security patch for Android handsets.
Unfortunately, the update was not without issue and users updating from the Developer Preview build had some teething issues.
The statue is great. The Pixel XL OTA from DP4, however, not so much. Final factory image fails to install too. I'm not alone. pic.twitter.com/3HaxnSlfQg

Reported by @ArtemR founder of AndroidPolice and APKMirror. This was rapidly followed up by Google and the issue has been patched out according to the following tweet,
Fixed now. We had a signing issue for beta users.
