Microsoft’s co-founder, Bill Gates made a shocking revelation recently in an interview today. After all, it isn’t every day that he says he uses Android. The billionaire said he had ditched Windows and finally embraced Android. In an interview with Fox News, he said he still has “a lot of Microsoft software,” but he didn’t say which Android phone he was using currently.

By now, everyone knows that Microsft’s own Windows OS didn’t go well with many people. In fact, Windows phones had a minuscule 0.3% share before finally going dark. After the demise of Windows mobile, Bill Gates had only two options. That was iOS or Android. And even when both Google and Apple have been Microsoft competitors, the rivalry with Apple is deep like the one with Mac and PC. This could be the reason he chose Android.

Android, as we know, is modified by different manufacturers even though it is Google’s OS. So if Gates doesn’t use a Pixel, he can also avoid using a direct Google product. Apart from that, Android is best known for the freedom of customization that iOS just can’t provide.
Further narrowing down, if he bought the phone in the US, there is a high chance it might be Samsung’s device. But these are just our educated guesses at best. It’s only if Bill Gates himself says what he is using that we will know.
