We had reported some time back that AMD, the closest rival to the ever-growing Intel which has a huge market-share in the CPU market espescially for Desktop PCs for Gaming as well as otherwise have launched their latest CPUs termed the AMD Ryzen 5 which offers same or even better performance like the Intel CPUs at about 1/4th the price of Intel. This already shook the PC market and AMD was hard at work to release their CPUs as soon as possible looking at the demand.

Now that time has come for all the AMD fans as well as those who are looking for performance as well as cheaper options for there CPUs. Today, AMD has launched the AMD Ryzen 5 CPUs in Indian market available in 4 cores as well as 6 core options. The lineup of AMD Ryzen 5 series consists of four models, the Ryzen 5 1600X, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 5 1500X and Ryzen 5 1400. This options come when the company has already launched the AMD Ryzen 7 series worldwide and it will give their customers more options for Desktop CPUs.

For some details about the CPUs, The Ryzen 5 1600X and Ryzen 5 1600 are priced at Rs. 18,199 and Rs. 15,799 respectively. Both are six-core models, with the ability to run two threads per core. For the 4-core options, Ryzen 5 1500X and Ryzen 5 1400 are both capable of running eight threads, and are priced at Rs. 13,799 and Rs. 12,199 respectively.

Ryzen 5 CPUs are aimed at gamers, content creators and casual users who want raw performance but wouldn’t want to spend upwards of Rs. 20,000 on their CPUs. This CPUs have reportedly delivered upto 87% more performance than Intel’s Core i5 series of CPUs.
