Where plenty of Galaxy S8 leaks are flooding the Internet, there’s a new Samsung device leaked on Geekbench. While the exact device name is still not confirmed, the device might be the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro 2017 variant. As per the leaks, the device might come out in July 2017.
Talking about the device, it runs the latest Android Nougat 7.0 with 3GB of RAM. It’s still not confirmed whether its a DDR4. Along with the 3GB RAM, the device houses a MediaTek Helio P20 Octacore 2.3GHz SoC. Samsung has now introduced the Mediatek processor instead of Snapdragon in the 2016 variant.
Along with the leaks on GeekBench, a new leak came out from GFXBench, which shows the entire specs of the device. The device will feature a 5.7inch 1080p device. The device has only 1 variant of 32GB ROM /3GB RAM. Any other variant is still unknown. The device come with a 12MP rear camera & 12MP front camera which will allow 4K images & videos from both the camers. The GPU on this device is an ARM Mali-T880 MP2 (dual core).
Till now there’s no official word from Samsung about the upcoming device. If the leaks are to be belived, the device is really big like the Nexus 6. The hardware specifications look decent. Looking over the specifications it offers, the device might be give competition to Redmi Note 4 & Honor 6X. Now, everything depends on the price of this device.
Samsung has already lined up quite a few releases in 2017. The Samsung Galaxy S8 being the most awaited. However there’re still few devices, that are yet to be revealed by Samsung. (GeekBench)
